The Pied Piper Sketch

Here is a new piece I am working on. Here is part of the sketch. I usually create the different elements separately and then scan them in and combine them in Photoshop.

Sketching examples

People have asked me how I come up with sketches so here it goes... I usually have someone pose for me and then create a quick sketch from their pose. Then I scan that sketch into the computer and morph it a bit and make it better. Then I print that sketch out and make a final sketch on vellum. I guess you find something that works for you and go with it.
